Penny Bohn was born in 1967 and was raised in rural Roswell, New Mexico, the youngest of six children. Her mother was a professional craftsman and was the source of inspiration that fueled Penny ’ s desire to become an artist. Through trial and error during the course of her youth, Penny was self-taught portrait, still-life and figurative art. Those techniques were further developed during her Studies of the Arts at University of New Mexico. In her early twenties, Penny began her mural business in Santa Barbara, California; then moved her business to Bountiful, Utah. Today, her murals can be found on the walls of businesses, homes and churches throughout the country.
